Haha I don't, but most of why I believe in Iwobi is stats based and all of you don't believe in stats so that makes it basically an impossible sell.
So first of all its cos hes played out of position and now the stats tell you hes good?

Which is it?

What stats tell you hes good?

Is it his crossing percentage that's worse than our CB playing RB? Is it that 1? Oh, that's right, hes not a winger and its unrealistic to expect a *checks notes, Premier League attacking player to be able to swing a God damn cross in.

Is it his assists? I think Pickford has more.

Is it his goals? Michael Keane has scored 3 times the amount.

So, please, which stats highlight what a wonderful talent this utter dog of a player is?

How much he passes and dribbles forward. I mean I'm not going into detail because no one is actually interested but that's what it is. Progressive passes, passes into the box, progressive dribbles. Those three are better than all of our players bar James despite playing, in my estimation at least, the wrong position.

Some stats for you

Have some fun with it. You might learn something.

And I will say I hadn't checked closely recently and Gomes is starting to show a bit better for progressive passing so that's something, but for me he doesn't balance it out because his work without the ball remains dreadful.

You backed Iwobi as a 10 off one match.
I backed Iwobi as a 10 off of the skills he's shown for most his career, the one match with us showed how it could work, and I said in the long post I made that the sample size is small and if I didn't then I'm saying it now, of course the sample size is too small to say for sure.

I'm in more of a I'd like to see it tried mode than it'll definitely work mode.

I'm not sure if you're aware but I think we're pretty crummy right now. We should be looking to improve.

And which one of the numbers among the 8 or so charts is the one that tells us Iwobi isn't pants?

Column # and heading?

LOL

I might learn something.

This boy.

His expected goals is lower than Yerry Mina and his progressive passing is worse than Michael bloody Keane.

Yeah, these stats don't really show what you think they show.

Possession and Passing, far right Prog and PPA for passing and Prog under the carries subheading for possession, and make sure you toggle per 90.

Did you do progressive passing or progressive distance? And also did you toggle per 90?

I ask because distance is skewed toward players who play deeper. Goalkeeper almost always has the most.
