For me hes played his best games for us at Wing Back, kinda puts holes in the "hes better in the middle" discussion.

And hes been terrible, mostly for his whole time at the club, THATS his fault.

He still can't pass a ball directly to someone too.

But he has been great this past month and I've been surprised with him defensively too.

Defended well for someone that isn't a natural defender. I enjoyed the time in the second half where he ran all the way back to win a tackle after sprinting the length of the pitch to support the attack

Made up for him. Shown real character in improving his game under Lampard. One of the first names on the teamsheet these days. How cool would it be if he went on to become a massive player for us?!

Been excellent for a fairly long time now in our most needed phase of the season.

He was one of the main culprits for not stepping up earlier on in the season but fair play to him. He's completely turned it around, at least for the time being.
