He's just not very good in a full 11 aside match is he. One of the most ineffective players I have ever seen and still continues to be picked it's baffling.

What’s really damning though is when you add the assist stats to those goal stats. You’re looking at a winger/attacker who has barely scored but not only that, has contributed just as little in terms assists and big chances created.

To be fair, it’s not just him - we don’t seem to be able to sign wingers who can score or assist. Not discussed as much as the defence or centre midfield. You could look at Bernard, Walcott - even go back to Mirallas last few seasons, Aaron Lennon, McGeady, Bolasie… they’ve been similarly ineffective. None of them were getting 5+ goals and 5 + assists a season - not even combined. It’s pathetic.
