I’ll happily open myself up to the vaults with Iwobi. There have been times when I’ve said he looks good but in the main I’ve been critical of him, and at one point I thought he was as bad a signing as we’d ever made, pound for pound. He’s certainly proved the last bit wrong already and he’s starting to show that he’s genuinely good. He needs to keep it up for a bit longer to really pipe the vaults down but I have no issue at all saying he’s proved me wrong and I’ll be very happy if he continues to do so.

Even with his (formidable) upturn in form, if he had a tap in from 6 yards I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed!
