I dont know why people are saying it wont happen. how do they know ? it could do ! unlikely maybe ! but you cant say for sure

I do think he'll be watching what Moshiri can accomplish at Everton and may, somewhere down the line, decide to jump ship from the arse and join him at Everton. He's getting nothing really at Arsenal, at Everton he could buy into BHH(?) and have a say in the future of the club. Don't discount it entirely - it could happen at some point ;)

I dont usually make threads, just snarky posts but i saw this on twitter and a couple of non-official sites.

IF (big if) the article is to be believed then Everton would be one of if not THE richest club in the Premier league. According to the always accurate site of Wiki, the Russian Usmanov is worth 14.1 billion, a considerable chunk of change more than that guy over at Chelsea.

Look I dunno if this story has legs but if it does I am not entirely sure how I feel about an oligarch ultimately have a large say in the direction of the team. He has definitely invested while at Arsenal which is commendable in that he believes money must solve everything but we know as Toffees that Money cant buy you Ston....oh hell. I welcome our Russian overlord.
Ultimately the club has to live within its means. How much investment do we need that we do not have? Also I would rather compete on a level playing field than do what Chelsea did. Just buying trophies does not mean much to me. We are now competing financially and I am happy with that.

It would be the ideal scenario due to his wealth, however as stated in other earlier threads it's very, very unlikely for a multitude of reasons.

You could only hope that he does become frustrated with Kroenke's dominance and sees the possibilities in a new waterfront stadium etc.

Still, owning shares in a profitable and well-known outfit like Arsenal and a club like Everton with a lot to improve are pretty different scenarios.

Far too easy to get bogged down in speculation and let's support our current majority shareholder and his investment in the club.

He holds shares in arsenal for more than business mate. Its a sentimental thing for him, he wants to pass the shares to his kids as a family thing.

So it would take a massive change for him to deviate from that. Remember he owns shares in a club he will never be able to buy more in as the majority holder wants to buy his at the same time.

How about the fact he doesn't actually have any children mate, so whose kids us he passing these shares on to again?

Is that enough of massive change for him to deviate?
