All Aboard the Sizeable Samuel Gravy Train!

Will Sizeable Samuel keep West Brom up this year?

  • He's Sam. Of course they will stay up

  • He has bitten off more than he can chew

  • Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy!

  • I hope the Fat Blert goes down faster than yer Ma on my Birthday

  • Who cares about West Brom anyway?

  • Give him a wafer thin mint, he's done.

The dodgy fella, being dodgy

Ridiculous isn't it. West Brom purchase a player West Ham don't want. Pay a fee for him, yet somehow agree to him not playing against the the team he's left in about 3 games in from his signing.

I hope they both get investigated tbh and are found to have breached the rules. Allardyce to be sacked, West Ham to be docked points...everyone's a winner.

I imagine it would fall into "Gentleman's Agreement" territory like Tim Howard did.
West Ham will have wanted to keep hold of him for an extra week so he wouldn't play against them. West Brom wanted him in instantly, so agreed not to play him against them which got him integrated into their squad quicker and in for the Wolves game.

Can West Ham legally demand he doesn't play against them? No. West Brom could have played him if they had wanted to. But West Brom agreed not to so as to speed up the deal (They got him a game early than they would have done).

"Sam Allardyce is a genius" - Pep Guardiola

Pep knows a thing or two.
Yes, it seems thousands upon thousands of Blues all over the world were wrong about him.
Pep that is.
If this is his idea of mind games before tonight's game, then I think he needs to resit the course.
'A genius'; FFS!

If Allardyce keeps them up, I'll agree.

Just short of on pace for historically leaky. I don't see how they score enough goals to stay up even if he halves the concession rate. He needs 24 from 19 to even begin to feel good about their chances.

29 is the magic number, but that's 1.5 points per game. Realistically, that means getting a team with a -28 GD to score more than they concede on the run-in.

In other words, get WBA to Chelsea and Arsenal's current level. Good luck with that.
