We mere mortals see that we play catch up each season. So why cant the great and the good see this as well? It's taken for granted we'll be suckered into a panic buy five minutes before deadline finishes. Ffs let's get the business done now.

Always wonder how these negotiations actually happen. Daily phone calls of “you ready to accept 25 yet?” “Nope, you ready to go up to 35 yet?” Or would it be email conversations?

I am concerned that seemingly our main target involves dealing with this oddball owner.
I am far from confident this deal will happen at all because of this one fact.

If reports are to be believed Ancelotti has spoken to ADL about the deal. Not sure if it will make any difference but hopefully having a pre-existing relationship with him might help move things along.
