I think you're right. Initial reports seem to have suggested it but some concerns over how well Silva would be able to communicate. Not a clue how good his english is. Azpi comes across as a good captain anyway to be fair.

I have only just tuned in and cannot believe the rubbish I am reading. From you as well @Eggs of all people. Somebody I looked up to and respected.
Answer me these points and still tell me he is of Everton calibre;

Was he bought on deadline day for a ridiculously inflated price?
Was he a reject at any of the media darlings?
Was he acquired from any of the relegated clubs?.
Is he a permacroc waiting to occupy the physio table?
Does he have a reputation for being a bad influence in the dressing room?
Did he demand a 47 year contract, and, be the highest paid player at the club?

I think you know the answers to the above, and I repeat my claim, he is NOT the type of player we are used to.
