....in hindsight, probably did him no harm getting more minutes into him. I was saying to Mrs Eggs, ‘surely he can’t be Brazilian, he can’t pick a pass’ but of course they’ve had water carriers in the past. Little block on the edge of the box in injury time was as crucial as a defence splitting pass.

He's fine. He was always going to be needed at some stage, whether to sure things up or - as he did - get us on the front foot by allowing us to change the shape to 4-3-3/4-2-3-1.
