According to transfermarkt he was out injured for 10 games for Napoli last year, and he didn't always play when he was fit, so maybe its not quite as big a change as you think.

He's one of our best players so it's tragic just like james he's never fit , need to cover them in bubble wrap. Defensive midfielder shouldn't be a luxury item, a fancy plate to bring out for special occasions. Even Mccarthy completed a full season before his body self destructed. But I don't fault Allan it just sucks we don't have any viable contingencies.
