Well he’s been in the team all season and we haven’t been any better.

Lampard messed up in this regard; he lacks any confidence in our defence so he went with five at the back instead of five in midfield.

Relatedly, it wrecks my head the way some people classify formations. Yesterday, we had people stating that we had three at the back and three upfront. Do me a favour, it was five at the back, four in midfield and one upfront. Even Osman on the commentary yesterday said "3 upfront". We weren't anywhere near having 3 upfront, Richarlison was all alone upfront feeding off scraps largely because we only had four in midfield whereas the opposition had five.

We need to go 4-5-1, ideally with a number 10 that can create half a chance. But as we don't have any number 10's worth talking about (Alli is crap) then we should just go with three central midfielders.

Can that be appealed and possibly over turned after it’s gone to VAR?
Prob unlikely they would but there will be very few who think it was a straight red
