Can't even remember him being on the field tonight. He was very good against United, so strange.

Too many miles on him. Puts in excellent performances but then looks like he’s running with a bank safe on his back for the next couple games. Too slow and not physical enough to plug up the middle of the park.

Yeah, he just can’t handle young hardworking midfields anymore. United were slow on the ball and in their passing so he was all over them but Leicester played quick one twos around him and he had no answer. I’d still keep him next season and use him in the games he can be effective but have other options against quick passing teams like Leicester.

on paper, we had 3 in midfield last night, but Delph sitting so deep meant it was effectively 2 in the middle and Allan was exposed to the runners into the spaces. They all looked clueless last night as if they didn't have any idea what the gameplay was supposed to be

That really wasn't his job for what needed to happen. His positioning was generally solid today.

Bit worrying though he seems to be the one sacrificed whenever team is one down, does Lampard genuinely believe Doucoure is viable option as DM?

Have visions of it being 1-1 at home to Brentford/Palace with 20 minutes left, Allan hauled off and then with endless attacking midfielders and wingers in central midfield area likes of Eriksen will break away and score the winner.
