I think hes about 55% of the way from being complete mate, i see huge headroom, he has so many natural attributes, he ticks almost every box, how and when he uses his gifts, composure and how best to impact a game are things he can develop and all are coachable - i think that can be adapted and developed and it will come, hes very, very young, but his natural attributes are scary in how well rounded he is, he has so much he can hone.
I feel much the same way you do - well off the finished article, but players that are both extraordinarily gifted and coachable tend to get there in the end.

He's going to have a few iffy moments so let's not be as quick to knock him down as we are to build him up.

^ Just going to occasionally bump this comment.

In terms of transfer fee - for me, he's currently our most valuable player. Out of everyone we have, he's the one I'd want the most money for.

Sure, he's raw - we'll see some iffy moments and it probably doesn't help him how fluid Lampard has our midfield but this fella will play for an 'elite' club.

….folk will understandably highlight his part in the goal, but there was a moment early in the game when he drove through a couple of United players to find himself quickly in space in the opposition half. Only special players can do that.

I thought he was our best player. Best of a bad bunch, but the best. Interesting when Gueye was struggling he put Onana confront of the back 4 which helped.

As we searched for a goal, he got himself on the box more, and was a threat. Looks a nightmare to play against.

One of those players who isn't going to be flashy but will hopefully be very effective. As has been mentioned, if he works on his heading he'll get plenty of goals.

One point he picked a loose ball up deep in our half and went through the gears, carried the ball through the middle of the pitch, leaving Man Utd players trailing behind him - you could really see what potential he has in that moment - he then saw the overlapping run on the right and passed the ball….poorly, behind the player making the run.

Give him time to get it together and I think he will.

If he improves by even 5-10%, he's an £80mill player. Very little out there like him.

He’s playing for an ‘elite club’. We just need to remember that fact, believe in it again, and get back to our previous status…..
