I have seen very little to convince me he will become anything of not, but he is young and will develop

My main moan with him is his lack of energy and his workrate is not what I expected

He needs to be more aggressive and be covering more ground than he does now

I think he needs to stay and basically be told, give us 1 great season and you will have earned your move. Put it on him.
But to be fair, if a silly offer came in, I would just get rid and reinvest. As it stands, he is no great loss. He might turn into a world better, but the player with have now, is replaceable

Reports today saying we'll listen to offers of 60m.

Trouble is, we paid 36m euro for him. (+ 4 in add on, I doubt we've met them yet) so let's say 31 million pounds.

Plus we owe lille 20% of any fee. (not profit, overall fee according to some media.) so that's 12m pounds.

It gives is just over 17m profit over a season. It's decent..... But would be reinvest wisely?

I am expecting quite a bit more from him

We don't ask enough of our players at times, and continually make excuses.

Given his reputation, he is going to have to grasp that mantle this season and show us what he can do.

Thing is though, that is the model loads on here are crying out for, buy young promising players, and sell for profit.

If we take those figures on face value, we have £47m to reinvest.

Rumour has it that hes been having an eventful and action packed beach vacation.

Yesterday, perhaps seen wrestling a shark for sport before walking on water back to shore...this morning he apparently had a whale ride.

This afternoon he may have been paragliding. Without the canopy, harness or parachute of couse. As he floated back down, the sound of him humming the Zcars theme might have echoed into space...before he landed gracefully onto the earth.

In some ways Amadou, welcome home.

My 1st holiday abroad, wretch of a coach journey but had a cracking holiday.....lovely place.

My 1st holiday abroad, wretch of a coach journey but had a cracking holiday.....lovely place.
Went back years later ( by plane of course )

. Same! The journey that never ended, but there was some characters on that coach is was brilliant! My Mum and Dad punished us a few years later by going to Salou with them again.

Great holidays and memories though.

Just read a report that if true looks like he’s more or less gone, and can’t see the money being used either. Apparently we need to sell to try and balance the books still and any big financial transaction needs to be discussed with the premier league while this investigation is ongoing we’re in deep and even worse if we end up with any points deductions.
