Assuming auto correct changed that from shin, the TV ref needs to go spec savers unless Onana’s foot starts about 3 inches above his ankle.

I think he said it was on the shin but slid down and impact went onto his foot and thats why it wasn't a red. That's how he justified it. But if it's the other way round they would be crying for a red.

Yaya Toure looked like a lolloping donkey til you noticed he was gliding past players and they were bouncing off him, Peter Crouch never ever looked like a football player but was a great finisher, Onana, will have a top career. He's already quality and he will get better.

Yeah i heard that from Peter Walton in the BT studio it was bizarre how it is possible to be double impact he put his studs into his shin that was where the impact was it dosn't matter if his studs ended up on Onana's foot VAR didn't even look at it

Apparently trying to break another players' shin is a 'No No' but trying to break the bones in their foot is fine.
