At least I can turn the sound down if the commentary is bad. I can’t do the same with the picture if they aren’t showing the game.

I’m talking not just talking about the commentary but the analysis of the game. Yes the pundits weren’t great, but at least we weren’t subjected to Redknapp, Carragher or Souness.
