He has never learned about boundaries, he has never had controls placed upon him.
We have loads of examples of players who have had the same advantages as Gazza and not turned out to be a##holes but is he not a product of an industry which uses people, exploits their talent with no regard for the person.
I met George Best twice and was impressed by his honesty and his awareness of who he was and what he had done with his life.
Both these people have suffered at the hands of football, it gave them the means to destroy themselves on the big screen.
I hope Gascoigne sorts himself out but I wouldn't pay to see him perpetuate the myth that he still has something to offer the public.
