An important watch for those who boo our team.

I think rather than boo the team, you should just write RM a very passionate letter about expectation.*
Players following instructions, except at penalty taking.

The players have proven they are capable and talented enough to win games, without being hand tied to one style.

Lads have the right to boo, but maybe at the end of a game rather than get on individuals backs during the game.
Negativity will affect some players who are not part of the fans disappointment.

Just my own view lads.

*May not happen.

"I work around the Country, and the amount of people who mention how negative our home support is unbelievable They mention the treatment Barkley receives, and others if things are not going well."

But your argument was that the rest of the country wasn't aware how negative our support is. Here's a recent quote from the Ipswich forum TWTD;

But the booing during the game is just ridiculous and often for the wrong reason.

Everton fans are the worst for this, literally berating their team every time a forward pass goes astray or it goes backwards and you visibly see the confidence drain from players like Lukaku and even Barkley.

We just need to be patient and remember that keeping the ball is half the battle won.
Clearly another regurgitation by an ill-informed blogger of second hand information.

And another report of some fans' negative reaction, mrb85;

ESPN Everton v QPR

This slightly edgy finish led to a rather unfortunate, astonishing occurrence whereby a small section of the crowd began to boo players passing backward when well placed farther forward.

Booing is forever a hotly debated topic among supporters, but so long as fans continue to pay for tickets, it is their right to do so, should they wish. That did little to make sense of this bizarre episode.

When the Toffees found themselves booed off after the 1-1 draw at home to Hull, there was a degree of understanding. Even if you did not agree, you could see why others felt compelled to vent their displeasure at such a poor display.

In this instance, though, with key personnel absent and a team on the brink of only their third home success in a season marred by injury and inconsistency, such a reaction felt like madness. Booing a side minutes from a two-goal victory is like a spoiled, rich kid complaining his new Ferrari is the wrong color.
A comment by someone who clearly rarely goes to GP. That was the only chorus of booing in the whole match and had to be seen in its proper context ie as an example of a 'move' that perfectly encapsulated all that's been wrong in the Martinez approach all season.

mrb85 - clearly you're struggling.

The Martinez approach delivers a 3-1 victory and your reaction is to boo. It perfectly encapsulates all that's wrong with your attitude.

Forgive if I'm wrong but I certainly didn't hear any boos?

3-1 would have been a good forecast for last night - but we're talking about Everton v QPR.

The Guardian Everton v QPR
88 min: Everton fans whistle and boo Jagielka for playing the ball back to Howard. With his team 3-1 up. With three minutes to go.
Eh? How does that work?

Liverpool Echo
Tim Howard has urged Everton fans to think twice before booing the team’s passing style and insisted: “We need to stick together.” The Toffees goalkeeper said he was dismayed when skipper Phil Jagielka was jeered for passing back to him towards the end of their 3-1 win over QPR on Monday.

We were spared the boos last night, but the fans were rather subdued. They seemed to reserve their cheers for the defeat of Liverpool.

In contrast, the Young Boys fans cheered all game. Why can't we copy them!

All away fans give their team good support. Normally because they're half or totally pissed. It's why our away support is second to none.

Well, not a boo boy in sight at Arsenal today.

And still the same boring, sterile, clueless, lifeless crab ball we have been lobotomised with at Goodison for most of the season.

Players still frightened to do the unexpected.

Football by numbers.

Bizarro World football where the manager aims to have more "possession" and "completed passes" than shots on goal.

Phenomenal.
