An unwinding toffee

What do you do to get your mind off a big loss?

The filthier, the better! Kidding mate... 😜

I try to find something to watch that's more ridiculous than the Everton performance I had just witnessed.

Usually I can't find something... But last night I thought I had found a winner:

As ridiculous as that sounds, it still doesn't beat being 2-0 up after 87 minutes of a match has passed and STILL losing 2-3! 😤

I have become anesthetised to the shock, nothing this club does any more shocks or surprises me. Yesterday evening I cooked homemade Onion Bhajies, it's very therapeutic and they taste great!
*While eating a couple of them I could actually stomach watching SD bemoan the 'smell in the air' as he put it, but still found myself shouting at the screen, "Well then you daft barstool why didn't you freshen things up, instead of just watching and doing nothing!!
**Onion bhaji's are so easy to make and you can tweak the recipe with masala to spice things up a bit.
*** My Mrs says they are great too and looks forward to the next time Everton falls down a rabbit hole!!!

I almost have a delayed reaction to defeats. Most times,it feels like it has not happened, then the longer after the game has finished, the more angry, annoyed, whatever you want to call it i become
Another post familiar to me. I'm beginning to come around from yesterday.
Something else. I'll own up to not being there yesterday. Due to my 2hr plus drive home I would have left early to steal a few minutes on Queens Drive. At 2-0 it was done and dusted. I hesitate to think how I would have dealt with every inch of the M62 in front of me.
