Then I guess it isn't all his fault personally but his reign at the club was still an absolute disaster for the same reasons and shows why Moshiri is a clown for not realizing the lack of fit in the first place.

This isn't about Iwobi being the best player ever, it's about a manager either through lack of ability or far more likely lack of actually giving a crap not realizing what he had and putting it into action.

You know that clip everyone thinks is hilarious where Carlo didn't know who Garbutt was? To me that just shows his effort level in the role. He never cared and the way he left should have made that especially clear.

I didnt really care that Carlo didnt get soak.

He had us riding high, then I suspect he told everybody he was moving to Real and well, you saw what happened the last few weeks/months of the season.

He was here, now hes not.

I dont pine for Carlo, I realise he was never here as a long term project, am I glad we had him as manager? Yes, he made me believe again, was he a success? No, not even close. Honestly, I try and not look back, it just makes me sad more than anything, our best season since I grew pubes, other than the whole winning a cup, of course, was taking the lead against Chelsea in a cup final.

That was 14 years ago now.

But we have Super Franky now, thats all that matters, never look back.

So yes, by the same token, Alex Iwobi is in the side now and playing very well.

I just think believing in Carlo was naivety. He had his name and people bought it but he was never selling anything of substance.
