16.2M for a right back.

It's official.

I've seen it all now.

Na, that's nothing one of the most expensive defender was the Transfer of Rio Ferdinand from Leeds to Man Utd in 2002, which is around £29.1m.

But still £16.2m for a defender is just stupid, Jagielka and Lescott didn't cost us anything near that amount, yet I don't believe either Jagielka or Lescott is a lesser player than Rio Ferdinand.

We needed a good Right Back as well, but I certainly hope we are not spending that much on a defender I rather spent it on a midfielder.

I believe if our midfield become stronger we could get away having Neville and Hibbert playing there next season as I believe if we had a good right winger he will be a great cover to the RB.

Joaquin would do nicely I just can't imagine how much better it would make us, if we have world class midfielder in our line up, we have build a pretty good backbone now we just need the creativity, height and pace from the midfield line, and we should make Alan Green and RS eat there word next season.

It makes Mannys price reasonable,But something should be done like a cap on transfer fees to give teams with less money a chance to compete

woudlnt that ruin our fun of saying "OMG the [Poor language removed] paid HOW MUCH for that piece of [Poor language removed]?" LMAO

etc etc.

Remember last year when it was rumored that Flamini was rumored to be up for sale? Would have loved to have him, next to Cesc I thought he was Arsenal's best player.

Bosingwa: is it me or is this a typical Chelsea signing? Big, strong and fast player with no imigination or flair whatsoever in his game. Didn't Roman want to change his team?

I can't think of a full back with flair and creativity in world football. Not even Daniel Alves is that sort of player.

Bosingwa will come good. He's much better than Ferreira. I couldn't believe Ferreira's price at the time.

But chelsea have Drogba, Cole, Kalou, Lampard, SWP... Is that flair enough in a squad?

For those who never watched Bosingwa, in todays match we had a taste of what he can do.

It's virtually impossible to outpace this lad. Super athlete.
