If you think we can outbid Manchester United, thats Manchester United, the richest club in world football, the team thats currently paying Sanchez 450k a week to warm their bench, well I dunno what to say mate.

I'm not saying we can outbid them. If Utd want to splash big on a player, we can't come close to them. But, they spend their huge money on the marquee signings with one eye on shirt sales, the global the brand etc (Pogba, Ibra, Sanchez).
When it comes to signing quality, they haven't invested wisely at all and they weren't willing to match the money we chucked at Barca and Mina's agent, by all accounts. Whether that was a matter of principle or otherwise, we've reached a stage where we don't have to immediately roll over and die when a big club comes in for players now. We can compete financially and if a player has a desire to join us, we stand a chance.
We are the best of the rest mate, players know we offer a good platform.
The boy Andre seems happy and settled, im hopeful that will help us for sure, he just needs to tone it down a bit thats all, cos currently he looks utterly amazing and thats very dangerous in our efforts to retain his services.

For the first time in my lifetime, I feel like we're capable of moving out of the rest and in with the best. It'll take a few years and some of that Usmanov money, but we're making progress.

Gomes needs someone who can play next to him. I love Gana, but he's just not good enough to start week in week out. Another defensive midfielder, one who can pass the ball is required a long with a striker. Just can't think of any defensive midfielders at the moment.
Its a long process mate, but I certainly think we have the right people guiding us.
I disagree, yes Gana is limited, but hes very, very good in his role, Gomes and Iceland can do the passings, Gana does the defendings.

Neves looked class at Porto, against us and also other wolves matches ive sat through this season waiting for other games to come on.

I hope behind the scenes this is nearly a done deal, he's not going to go unnoticed all season, it's not like he was not known prior, people probably wanted to see if the barca showing was a blip or a bad fit and it seems it was.
I feel we need at least some form of Europe to hold onto him but I'm also sentimentally hoping he's fallen in love with the Blues and is willing to stay and be our catalyst for better things. Come on Contract Dave pen at the ready lad...
