2018/19 Andre Gomes

We need to secure Gomes as quick as possible, he is the best midfield general I have seen at goodison for a long time at goodison.

Absolutely crucial we sign him as these sort of players are extremely hard to come by...

..love how he fires passes into his team mates. As a forward it’s brilliant when passes are fizzed in because it gives you so much scope to nip it past your defender. He’ll often play those passes in front of wide players, inviting them to move rather than stand still.

He’s a player that really good players will love playing with, he’s a player you look at before you go out on the pitch and know he has no fear of the opposition. A brilliant coup by a Brands.

He's impressed every time he's been on the pitch in truth but he's stepped it up a level now he's fully recovered from that injury, you can see he looks a bit quicker now and he's constantly getting into space for the ball... been very long since a midfielder has impressed me this much in an Everton shirt

Absolute nightmare scenario if they start asking for Richie in a deal to sell Andre.
Maybe to keep them sweet we could promise them 1st refusal should we decide to sell Richarlison, however the likes of Barcelona are arrogant enough to realise that they can unsettle any player particularly S. Americans

Just create a club where neither Gomes or Richarlison want to leave. First up, qualify for europe.
South American players always seem too want to play for Barca or Madrid at some point during their careers, i reckon we can get a good 2-3 years out of Richarlison before he might start getting itchy feet. Aslong as we keep showing signs of improving and signing players like Gomes on a permanent deals will help convince him to stay longer hopefully. But yeah, europe is probably going to be a key factor.

Specifically CL.

Unless we actually win it, EL is a bit of a hindrance although we must strive for it obviously.
