Yeah but he has an avenue out if he so wishes. It wasn't hard to envisage him finding it hard, no pre-season, only what 10 games into his Everton career and thrust into the mayhem of the christmas schedule which he has never endured before. I think the christmas schedule has had it's day, it isn't great to watch cos everyone is knackered.

we helped revitalize his career, after he was shut in his own home whilst "playing for" barca. if he wants to bail on us after a short stretch of poor form, it seems like he must have a bad attitude

I didn't really mean it like that. I meant that he has quality enough to play for a CL team and if we aren't shpwing anything anywhere near getting to even the Europa then he may assess his options and I'm sure his agent will be.
Anyway, it's all hypothetical, I wasn't questioning his attitude, i just want him to sign and it's a valid reason why he may not, he doesn't owe us anything really.

It's not I don't have faith, december just knocked the wind out of me/us a bit. he may not like the weather, theres a whole host of reasons he may not want to come back. I am a bit of a worrier in real life so its only the way i think.

His work rate was excellent in the 2nd half and that's what's needed from them all.
