I wish we'd play a midfield 3. Think he would shine more in that scenario. Dunno if he's suited to the 2 in midfield.

For the right price hes maybe worth a shot,but he was getting outplayed at times by Barkley for me,sometimes looks like hes to easy to get off the ball or at times to slow to react to things,thought he may have been subbed at ht today myself-saying that get rid of half the other players on loan if we could, then maybe defo a yes for Gomes

How much would you consider him 'good value' at

For me, £20mil MAX and ideally £15-18mil.

Very inconsistent and i prefer him not starting next season...a rotation option.

Not really sure myself, probably agree around the prices you say,i probably only start to think if its a good deal price wise if we have agreed one

His strength is key, allows him to keep the ball under pressure and make something out of it most of the time

Which is what a lot of people seem to miss.

He’s the only one who can hold the ball up long enough to allow the team to reset itself.

He literally ran our team for 18 games, everything went through him. Yes he’s had a poor run but Jesus he’s absolutely a top top footballer

....smashing footballer, he gives us something we don’t have with his confidence to keep the ball under pressure. If we don’t keep him, we’ll need somebody with that technical ability. I think there’ll be plenty of clubs wanting him.

Oh yeah, without a doubt. With a proper number 10 and striker he’ll fly. Imagine him having someone like Suarez of RS running everywhere, he’ll carve teams apart

Thought like most of the team had an excellent second half, be honest thought he ran the show in the second half, incredibly strong holding the ball up.
