No question he is versatile but he is not a holding sort of player - he is at his worst in static tactical setups and at his best driving forward with the ball. Long been impressed with his touch, passing and being the catalyst in counterattacks. He's ideal for the Premiership IMHO, just hasn't been used properly yet coupled with the fact that the player has lost a bit of his confidence after floundering at Barcelona. I think mentally he really had checked out so it's good to hear he is happy & embracing the engagement with fans
