Gomes isn't very creative is the problem.

His passing range, ability to hold up the ball, shield and then release, work rate and he showed against wolves he can score blammos showed me more than enough. We have to sign him.

No bedding in period, straight into the starting 11. He knows what Éverton are about and will be eager to say thank you to the fans.

I reckon that’s why his form went over Dec/Jan too.

A lot of games without a preseason would be hard for anyone, especially with us having more games than anyone over a small period of time.

Bernard will be better next season if he can get a full preseason and I’m looking forward to seeing that and if we can sign Gomes permanently I think it would be a great signing
