Yeah could just see IF, that's a big IF by the way, we got to the champions League final, which was played on the 1st of June. We'd have half a dozen players ineligible to take part as their contact ended the night before ...

Even better. Who's not going to play in the cl final? So we'd have them playing for nothing!

I'd love that myself but you know how lovingly the UEFA hierarchy look towards us, usually like they've trod in something deeply unpleasant.
The club would be probably fined for some archaic long forgotten rule, like if playing you'd have to eligible for all games in that competition, and by not having a contract it was deemed cheating.
An immediate European ban for 40 years, with your final place being given to the club nearest to your ground begining with '"L" , and all monies raised by that seasons exploits split between the 'Phil Neal home for the terminally greedy' and the 'John Aldridge scrumpy cider & pork scratching pigeon hospital'.

Do you ever go back and look at the things you post though? Like it’s always negative mate.
It just comes across as odd that’s all. The thing is you’d make some good points I reckon if you weren’t so hateful on your own team all the time.

People just find it wearing that’s all.
