Kopite has just texted me and said Gomes is class. Hard to disagree with him. Imagine what he’ll be like with another couple of games under his belt.
As for the game. Dodgy pen for them proved decisive. But we wasted far too many promising situations. Bernard miss proved crucial. Oh and Lookman has to start next week over Walcott.
