I do, because he's gorgeous, but he's a crap football player who needs to seriously question his desire and whether he thinks he's earning his wage. For me, he's been stealing a living here apart from a very brief spell on loan where he looked decent. Typical of him to instantly become crap as soon as we shell out for him.

He bottles out of so many challenges. I get why Lampard left him on for so long, hoping he’d get hold of the ball and help us keep possession but subbing him for Allan at half time would probably have been more sensible.

Allan was apparently not able to play the full game and Gomes is our only fit midifielder.

Don't think he had much of a choice.
