Considering Rafata had a dossier on all players, why would he think it was remotely acceptable to play Gomes in the number 10.
Utterly baffling decision

One thing il give Benitez credit for is consistency..Considering Rafata had a dossier on all players, why would he think it was remotely acceptable to play Gomes in the number 10.

Consistently making wrongs decisions, it’s almost like he has a plan to drive us into the championship
3 points from the top half *face palmsRafata is at the wheel
Yes and a terrible tactic overall by Carlo.Tactically Carlo got the best out of him last year as a deep lying distributor who took the ball off the defence or the 6 and broke the lines. He's a good passer off both feet but needs time on the ball to knit play. Like a bootleg Moutinho
HOWEVER
- That only works if we're the better side; because
- He was an absolute mincer off the ball then and still is now. Just bundles players over and then complains to the ref. Does my head in; and
- If he's pressed he panics. At fault for their second yesterday.
Impact sub at best when the game has slowed down and we're 3-1 up and need some control (hahahaha)
Ship
The horse had bolted when Gomes started ambling around up frontI thought Delph was a lot worse than Gomes if I’m honest. Delph got absolutely schooled by Gallagher time after time.
I only watched the first half, but he seemed to start the game in an advanced role. Highly ineffectively I would say, but it was as if he was being asked to play in the number 10 position. The horse had bolted when Gomes started ambling around up front
Too slow since his bad injury -This fella is absolutely horrific. The absolute state of him. Lost the ball constantly, and jogged around the pitch doing nothing. F off you no mark.
