He's played 98 times for us and you can count the number of good games on one hand. Massively overrated before his injury and he's been abysmal since. Offers nothing either defensively or offensively. Can just about play a simple ball to a blue shirt, that's about it. Completely unsuited to Premier League football.

Still has 2 years left on his contract. Can't believe we gave him a 5-year deal. Well, actually, I can. We gave Delph a 3-year contract despite anyone with access to the Internet being able to see that he missed 74 games through injury (via multiple injuries) in 4 years at Manchester City. This is the level of incompetence we have been dealing with on the recruitment front.

He and michael keane are the 2 players that sum up this club atm. Both came here with decent reputations and both of them are the most slow, pathetic and passive players I've ever laid eyes on.

Had high hopes but sadly he's been a mere shadow of his former self since Son did a job on him.
Now he is a liability. Too late to every loose ball, gives away silly fouls, ( another jump onto the opponent today), cant shoot, and moves like a sloth.
Time for pastures new or a permanent job hugging in the hospitality lounges.

Stop this please, his broken ankle hasn’t done anything to affect his footballing ability. He was terrible before that, once again we convinced ourselves a new signing was better than they actually were because we like shiny new things, we’ve been doing this for years and years and years.

Even in his first season he was very inconsistent. We just got carried away by a few good performances as usual. The fact he struggled as a ball playing midfielder at Barcelona says it all.
