Would anyone hear like to see AJ remain at Goodison?? Me personally, the answer has to be no has he stated his own desire to leave. I just wish and hope we get the initial price for him that Fulham agreed.

sounds like al fayed is trying to pull a fast one to me, unsettle the player then arse about the fee, he's just being a tight arse and now i know where the term "walk like an egyptian" comes from.......it's when you're walking home as fast as poss with your cheeks clenched shut to stop you cacking yourself.

To be fair though King then had a knee injury after joining Wigan.

I'm not saying he wasn't injured mate. all i'm saying is they are right to put him through his paces and double check every little problem that could come up.

like i said, a club record fee is involved, so they must get it spot on when signing him.

ANDREW JOHNSON was expected to finally become a Fulham player today after the final details of his move from Goodison Park were thrashed out.
Everton gave the former England international permission to speak to Fulham last weekend after negotiating a deal that could net them as much as £12m.
But the transfer has been held up by a number of minor issues - one was regarding the medical he underwent on Monday - and the two clubs had to enter into further dialogue.
However, the end is now in sight and the money Everton receive from Johnson’s sale will go straight into the kitty that David Moyes already has for new signings.

Lets just hope this go's through quick. An get the money spent even quicker.

i just read this........

Reports claim Andy Johnson's proposed move from Everton to Fulham is on hold after a hitch with the player's medical.

The Cottagers agreed a deal with Everton, believed to be in the region of £12million, for the England striker earlier this week but his move has now been delayed.

The transfer was expected to be completed before the weekend, but it's suggested Fulham now have concerns over the move as the medical is alleged to have shown up an old knee injury.

Both clubs remain confident that the deal will eventually be concluded but it's understood Fulham are trying to renegotiate terms of payment with Everton.

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will be keen to resolve the issue as soon as possible, as he looks to team up Johnson and Bobby Zamora, while Everton need the transfer cash to fund their own summer signings.

it says on skysports that there is a problem with an old foot injury and they are struggling to get insurance for him. it says fulham are trying to renegotiatethe payment package over a longer period

Oh no it's bad news sheep.

Get off the computer an get your revision done. You know your going to fail...

I was told when Johnson was injured earlier in the season that one of his ankles was that badly damaged that if he wasn't a professional footballer his ankle would be pined and he'd be told never to kick a ball again. I believe the surgery he had was last chance saloon stuff, I thought this transfer would fall down at the medical

Ye but this is about an old injury an it's his knee. apparently!!

It was always said the fee would go through, its just his wage and some subsidories (contract fees be reduced etc) that would be effected if they weren't happy with the medical. Fulham still want to make him a Fulham player. Just some niggles need sorting.

How this affects our transfers I dunno.
