I wonder if he wasn't a hit at Palace because a lot of their emphasis was to play through Zaha so Townsend was almost under used at times and maybe drifted out of games.

On a different note his second effort was amazing as well and what a save by Pope. He's absolutely belted that

If you know what you’re getting with Townsend, he does exactly what and more.

Was never going to be the most glamorous signing, but he never stops running, never fails to track back, always tries to find space.

He lacks pace and probably won’t be able to keep the pace all season, but free transfer and after 5 games games 2 goals, 2 assists.

Oh and he loves playing for Everton, and keeps saying it. Like it, like it a lot.

Always liked Andros when he played for Spurs. His party piece is cutting in from the right and curling it to the far post or going further and smacking a shot like tonight.
I think he should take the free kicks instead of Digne who's left foot has lost its mojo.
