I've had a complete falling out with the NFL. Used to be a huge fan, but I just don't care about it anymore, to be honest. So, since 'football' has lost its primary meaning to me, I'm happy to put it to good use.

I do miss going to bars/pubs to watch the games, getting drunk/pissed and being around my friends/mates, but I'm getting a bit old for that now anyway.

Still, it would be nice to watch a Blues match with fellow fans. Here, it's just me and a couple of cats. ??

Welcome. Many of we Americans are here because of Tim and Landon.

No, this is my first time here. Yes, I see the "progress". I feel like I need to do some serious reading to figure out wtf happened, but I'm assuming covid played a part.

Very long story short: club was sold, new owner spunked half a billion on some very poor signings, with just enough diamonds leavened in to keep us competitive. He then discovered that the league's sustainability rules place you in golden handcuffs a few years later if many of those very poor signings leave on a free.

We're currently in the process of steering the Titanic away from the resulting iceberg. There's a lively debate about how well that's going. I would say that after today's signing, it's probably 60/40 in favor of new management doing a good job with what they have.
