I thought exactly the same when Rooney left.

We had to sell Rooney then due to being skint, difference this time we are not skint but aren’t allowed to spend, FFP has really screwed us. Richarlison sale has helped but is that enough for Frank to get who he wants in. Imo here is the best place for Gordon to develop but does he see it that way.

I dont know why they bother.

We could have handed Dixie Dean to them and they'd still be the 'kin rubbish bottlers they are and always will be.

I think they will have a title push this year. not win, but close!! Seems they are trying to get rid of their dead wood as much as we are. Except they have some good players, and a manager who knows how to win stuff. We have... Gordon and not much else. - and i don't want any of their rubbish either.

Stamina will come with experience and age mate, he's hardly Delefeou who was gassed after 15 minutes or three sprints.

The lad was basically running his arse off none stop for 60 minutes trying to do everything.


Get a proper CF leading the line in a fit DCL, play Gordon on the left so he can cut onto his right foot, get at least 1/2 players who move in the final third and hit the box with runs (Gallscher/MGW/Dele etc) and his production will improve massively IMO

Harsh. He usually lasted a good 65/70 mins. A lot of links about Napoli going in for him after a great season with Udinese.
Wish he was still here. Really liked him.

What's a sensible salary for a 21 year old England U23 player with one energetic, half decent season behind him?

BTW, I know football salaries are not sensible...... So.....40? 50k with individual performance bonus?

Apparently Moshiri has sanctioned his sale and we are trying to instigate a bidding war between Newcastle, Tottenham, and another unnamed club. The talk of an improved offer to Gordon is false, and just a cover so we can say “we tried” to keep hold of the player.
