Really don’t know what to make of this lad, not sure if the pressure of playing for the team he supports is weighing too heavily on him or if he’s just not that good.
Seeing what that 21 y/o from Chelsea is doing though suggests maybe he should off on loan (assuming a decent team would have him)
We have a more mature wide player in Iwobi who should be taking the slack - it’s not like either of them are producing the goods, so In the absence of something better than either of them, maybe Gordon should be loaned out before he’s coached in to mediocrity like most of our academy products.

Your correct Rondon wasn't available to square to but I think it was either Gray or Townsend slightly behind who he either just rolls it to for a goal or smashes it.
Gordon can finish btw, he'll know it was a great chance to open his account today.

Gray gets marked Mac, he comes in from the left but one of the runners with Rondon picks up on this and covers the lines. Think his only option was smash it at the keeper or smash it across the face of goal
I thought there was deffo a ball to play across mate but wither way, a smash into the top corner and rhat becomes irrelevant.
He'll be fuming that he didn't score. Those chances don't around very often.
The positive of the miss though is that he he went direct for goal with the ball. If he keeps doing it and demanding the ball the goal will come of that I'm sure.

I’m afraid he isn’t making any meaningful impact though is he. Playing as one of the front 3 and hasn’t as much as got a Prem assist in 2 years

I'm pretty sure he has 2 or 3 assists having started about 5 games mate.
He hasn’t got one all season.

He might develop an end product but it's a fair thing to be saying at the moment because he's in the team right now and not having an impact in games. He's played in our last 12 games and not contributed a goal or assist in any of them and that's a massive problem for us in the present.

He’s in the team though, if he needs a year to develop, he can do it on loan. We need a goal threat in our attacking positions or we’ll be in a relegation battle all year.
