Oh come on Chris, if there goalie hadn't deceided to have a Big Nev level performance then Anthony would have scored loads of goals - he was peppering their goal with serious artillery like it was the Battle of the Bulge. I'll take anyone denying this as being on a wind up.

The fact he didn't try to go round him concerns me a lot. I'd rather have seen him cock up trying to round him than that abysmal chipped effort. The fact he didn't even try the right thing, is an enormous concern.

We're playing arguably one of the worst 3 or 4 teams in the league and home and he's missed multiple good chances. A decent player finishes these chances. Gray is worth about 2m and he done better.
He got presented with a gift of a chance to go and win the game and he made an utter hash. Not good enough today.

I am a fan but I if found him quite frustrating today. took too much out of the ball. I'm all for giving time for a young lad to get end product right as long as he is showing interest in his mistakes.
I like the way he is an outlet to carry the ball but then if nothing is on he needs to learn to hang onto the ball and play it simple.

Covered lots of ground and some clever play but was dispossessed a fair amount too. So unlucky with the shots but keep knocking on the door and the goals will come.

He doesn't have a bearing of where the goal is quickly enough. Either hits it first time at the keeper, or takes a touch to figure out the angles.
