He's not been playing well this season IMO. Yes, out of position the first few games. But he's been in his favourite position the past few games and created zero, doesn't look a threat, seems to look knackard, makes the wrong decisions for me.

On the other wing, Gray has found form.

McNeil is a completely different type of player who, like Gordon was in those first few games, struggled with having no focal point up top and been helping Patterson out at fullback (as we played a midfield 2).

Could be worth giving McNeil a shot in with the 3 man midfield we have.

He needs to get to Gray's level to be anywhere near excellent in games IMO.

We can't rely on him and he's young enough to go out of form and find it.

Moyes is excellent for coming out with a game plan to nullify the most dangerous player. It is no surprise Gordon struggled today. We moved on, nothing to speculate.
