it was to his uncle who is chelsea fan, but because he lives in Madrid he feels he should only support one team, so the ear cupping was somewhat of a diversion, as most people in that position could consider it to be somewhat frugal... so to answer your question... no one knows and does it matter.

We avoided relegation by 4 points

He had 1 goal contribution in the last 16 games of last season which was the deflected winner against Man Utd so he won us 2 extra points

Without that goal we still would have stayed up

Gordon was all over the pitch prompting us into attack and overwhwelming some opposnts we had no right to get results against.

I have no doubts whatsoever when saying that we'd have gone down without his contribution.

I'm totally with @davek on this one, Patterson and Gordon are the best young talent that we have had since Rooney. Once they get some more miles under the belt we'll be having to fight off Real Madrid and the like to keep hold of them.

Pickford and Iwobi say hi - those two along with Richarlison had more impact on us staying up than Anthony Gordon!
