There was rumours he wanted around £100,000 a week. Hopefully we've been sensible but we haven't been in the past and they clearly rate him.

I wouldn't be shocked if any new contract had some sort of clause in it for CL clubs if they start showing interest in him, but id hope any wage increase is nothing mad like the previously reported £100k per week.

We all know what will happen - Gordon and Iwobi will sign circa 100k a week 5 yr deals, Lampard will get punted, new manager comes in and either doesn't rate/play them or they struggle under said new manager.

Can understand giving Iwobi a new deal but not this sausage.

I expect him to be getting offered in excess of £50k p/w. Grey, Iwobi, Doucoure, Onana, Gueye, Maupey will all be on at least that, and it’s highly likely Davies, Garner, McNeil won’t be far off either. He starts most games, is likely worth at least £20m so wouldn’t be hugely surprised if he’s being offered £75k.

We are actually going to pay Anthony Gordon and Alex Iwobi a combined £200k a week while we teeter on the cliff edge of relegation aren’t we?

He should get paid on the amount of goals and assists he offers to the team, so the 30k a week he is currently getting the club should get money back
