Welcome to the Barkley club. Unrealised potential.
Going to miss pictures of his missus though. That's all I'll miss.

Not even on the same planet as Barkley. Barkley ran games right away, Gordon showed sparks

They’ll have similar careers in playing in the Prem and Flirting with England but Barkley will always be the better player

It’s a time for reflection and truths and a commitment to improving as fans.

There may be some who object to this or try twist the truth to avoid accountability for their damage to Everton. As long as we permit their pissy entitlement and anger then Everton shall suffer.

Someone made a diagram of these fans. I’m pondering whether this is accurate or not.

Zat told me we have 100m to spend, so you can stick your National news service up your bum.
It's £60M by my calculation: £40M off Gordon and £20M the unspent Brereton-Diaz cash.

We need to see that spent on three players in the next two days or we're finished.

The Gordon of last season was a very good player, who worked very hard for the team in a fairly dire situation. He seemed hungry to prove himself and eager to learn.

The Gordon of this season has been a much lesser player, who regularly showed questionable attitude, while offering next to no quality on the ball. Lots of petulance has crept into his game with his back chat to refs and constant yellow cards, and his actions in the last week showed his lack of maturity.

We cannot have anyone in the dressing room who is not willing to fight until May. It's a good deal for the club, but we need to invest the money sensibly by Tuesday night. As for the player, he undoubtedly has a lot of talent, but unless he grows up, he won't make the most of it.
Was he, really? This isn't some form of post-departure slight on him or whatnot, but rather (as I've stated previously) I think his performances were overstated.

He worked hard, scored some important goals and became a focal point for the fans, but his performances weren't stellar - he was just better than most of the rest.

He has raw potential and may go on to be a good player in the game, yet there's no guarantee of that; equally, his attitude has rightly been questioned.

I'm not agreeing that he'll be in the Championship in a few years, although I think his £45m price tag will more likely than not be a heavy weight on his shoulders.
