He would look good in a Roman centurions outfit...but that's about it. Dreadful player. Mind you, he's not the only one in Booby's first XI

So we go away to Kiev, big tall physical side, we know were in for a game and if I'm honest I thought we would win it.We've got stones and Distin who are both tall, physical and solid defenders. We all know we need to be solid at the back, basic defending is a bare minimum. So Martinez selects the least equipped defender to deal with Kiev. We all watched in complete devastation as he got completely and utterly destroyed, the mans out of his depth, last night hurt, he shouldn't have been on the bench, never mind the pitch!!

To be fair Alcaraz an okay choice if Stones was presumably not fully fit. Had a good game against Newcastle and had been previously, one of our most dominant players in the air. Can't really foresee him missing two easy headers that lead straight to goals.

The real issue is that we didn't sign another CB in Jan. We all knew we needed one and Bobby sat on his hands.

And he was letting Distin leave at the time. He thought Alcaraz is good enough and it now proves he is wrong.

When he doesn't have any actual defending to do, he looks like a footballer.

When put under any form of pressure he loses his position and crumples like a cheap suit. He's a bloody awful CB, as he can't bleeding defend ffs!

The fact that Martinez thought he was good enough for a top 6 side, terrifies me when it comes to his summer shopping list.
