...difficult job to come seamlessly into a big game like that. I think he's a class act, I really do. Very underrated. We're very well off in that position if you think our key central defender has been missing for a while. Alcaraz won a few headers from our corners as well.
 
Was very good when he came on. Very intelligent at reading the game, obviously lacks a little pace and fitness but not a bad sub to have.
 


I was more concerned at Distin coming off as I suspected he may have been injured, which apparently he is, so I hope it's not too bad. That said, Alcaraz did well when he came on.
 
i think he could be a decent option as backup to barry and gibson, i shall add.

i literally laughed when he made his 1st tackle after 30 secs, it looked like he'd got injured from it. fair play to him slotting in nicely alongside a 19 year old up against wayne rooney after not playing for 3 months.

the same man united supporting mate who's been watching nani, cleverley and welbeck all year? let me guess, he saw him vs the RS and based his whole opinion on that one performance?
