Football club in loan deal for PL player. WTF are they playing at? Surely this will come up at Prime Minister's question time today?

Yes, we're trying to get to the truth of that....do you have anything for us in terms of a link...because it seems no one does and it's utter BS.

….various links but as usual, no idea on the validity.

To be honest I'd be surprised if Moshiri decided El Ghazi was a priority.

If we're in for him, I suspect Benitez thinks he can bring something out of his game - a bit like Townsend and Gray. I admit, other than his play off final goal and him doing alright against us, I couldn't tell you a lot about him - looks like the fella hit 10 league goals last season? In 28 games?

We could do with another winger - we're currently having to bring one on who has a broken foot.

If a 5 moan loan and temporary solution - what's all the cry arsing for?

If it's a loan it's not the end of the world. But if it is true Benitez does not want him, then Benitez won't play him.

Like with Longstaff it just seems like a very uninspiring and in a lot of ways pretty pointless signing. I want us to play 3 in midfield because otherwise I can hardly seeing us winning another game all season which leaves 3 attacking places up for grabs and we have Calvert Lewin Richarlison Gray Gordon and Townsend as proper options for those places plus Rondon Iwobi Dobbin Tosun Simms as back ups so signing another player who is probably not as good as any of the proper options and only marginally better than the back ups seems like a complete waste of time. If he was a different type of player like a creative number 10 or a poacher or something it would be different but he just looks like another player similar to what we have and very average. Signing him wouldn't be the worst thing ever but its not going to make people happy its not really difficult to understand.

There was a time not so long ago when we had two keepers on our bench and still couldn't fill it. A loan for this guy doesn't seem so bad to have another option

We already have richy, Gordon, Townsend and gray to keep him out, the last position we need is another winger

Richarlison prefers central role. DCL fitness seems worse than is let on.

Gordon is saying he struggles to finish a game/he could also be moved central in a 3 man midfield.

We then have Townsend and Gray, who 90% of Evertonians whined about when we signed them.

Townsend has a broken foot. If Gray gets injured we're doomed.

As I said earlier, when Gordon needed to come off against Hull we only had Townsend/not fully fit - joke he come on really considering he admitted he couldn't shoot with his preferred foot.
