we are lucky in the fact we have a wealth of full backs at the club...whether any of them turn out to be good enough is another thing, but at least there is opportunity..

Has he ever played CB before? A lot of talk on here about him being a future CB but the step up from lower leagues to prem is hard enough without trying to get him to play in a totally new position.

I think Duffy needs a season on loan at championship level.I saw him in a couple of preseason friendlies and he didn't impress.
I think it is a huge regret that he hasn't a season of football behind him now.

Not really. Moyes is good at buying CB's and defenders.I can't think of a bad one he's bought bar Per Kroldrup. And he's bought a lot.

£3m suggests it's not a punt either.
