One married into the family. I don't really talk to him either and not because of who he used to play for. Utter muppet at times and unashamedly never gets a round in whenever we have any sort of family thing out. He let my cousins mum pay for a Sunday meal for about 20 of us once, she insisted while we all tried to say no and he didn't even lift his head. Not that it's expected that he would cover anything, we aren't like that at all and wouldn't want him to have but people without a pot to piss in were offering to pay.

Oh come on mate you can't leave us hanging like that . Spill the beans and out him

On a serious note, I haven’t known anyone who made it (other than Wayne).

Few lads I grew up with were in Villa/West Brom/Wolves academies.

My Grandad Tommy was close with one of Wayne’s aunties, and me and my cousin Ben have apparently been at a party with him and family. I was sceptical of this until Tommy died and I met the lady in question, who confirmed.

My mum's cousin was an apprentice at the RS early to mid-sixties. Very talented apparently, but a bit too fond of the high life.

Liverpool off-loaded him to Sunderland where he continued in his wayward ways.

By the early '70's he was enjoying life in one of her majesty's hotels - Walton I believe. By the '90's he was basically a career crim & spent much of the last 30 or so years in the nick.

He took a shine to me as a kid, you couldn't meet a nicer fella. A die-hard Evertonian, he took me to some games. Very sad he ended up the way he did.

Sorry you're related by marriage to Aldo. Do you chase him with pigeons?
