Would there be any issues with a work permit, i very much doubt it would be completed in time. I'm pretty sure all lose ends have to be tied up before the dead line or he wouldnt sign till january anyway :unsure:
 
If it was the manure or chelski after him have no doubt it would be done in time but this is Everton and those buggars in London most likely say "Everton who".

As to the work permit, has Appiah been a regular in the Ghana side this last two years ie played in over 75% of their games, that is the key.

Ok what I understand about work permits is that they can be applied for in a day. It is only an issue when the permit is rejected (Yakubu) that it takes longer. Appiah is the captain of Ghana and plays all of the games he will therefore get one.

Also my understanding is that if everything is agree (fee, medical and wages) the work permit can be obtained after the deadline as this would constitute a restriction of trade (ability to work) if they didnt allow the work permit to be applied for.
 
eeek 2 days and still no real sign of any interest !!!

nothing on the everton website etc... im very worried
 

From what Ive seen the last three years the most trustworthy source is the BBC website- if its on there time to start getting excited.

This transfer would excite me more than any other and that includes that Portugese [Poor language removed].
 
Also remember a couple of seasons ago. Nothing was being said and then 3 signed on the last day completely out of the blue.
