flup me! i saw this guy earlier this year when korea played ghana. his movement was great, a powerful shot and solid in the middle. it's not a player i expect everton to sign as he is not up and coming- he is in his prime now. dare i say a better player than fernandez.

You may dare to say it and I would dare to say I agree! ;)

The key difference between Fernandes and Appiah is Appiah is a born leader whenever Portugal where getting it handed to them by a team in the under 21's Fernandes would disappear Appiah is the complete opposite he'll step up put his foot on the ball and make the people around him perform.

He's an amazing player and I agree with Mick if we sign this guy I will cream myself. Outstanding player should be at one of the big clubs in europe but prefers to actually play the game rather than sit on the bench with a fat pay cheque in his ass pocket.

Look at his past and some of the accolades he has received. Would coming to us be a step down. He would be leaving a CL side for a UEFA side, but we know he is not happy there.

Was looking at that earlier on and it is impressive reading - would have the captains armband of Neville within a month!

Yup, much as I respect and appreciate Neville, I feel Appiah would be a more dominant Skipper. But I still don't think we will sign him if we get Yak. As mick says in news and updates. Why would we sign another African that we would lose along with yobo, anichebe and Yakubu for the Africa nations. I just don't think it makes sense at all.

Have only seen him in fits and starts but looks good on what i have seen, i think some of the stats area a bit out there and misleading if i rember corectly he couldnt get near the Juve first team and kicked up a bit of a fuss. Also another african player to go missing in the coming months.

not so sure on this one!

64 appearances and 3 goals in 2 seasons for juventus. It is on his Fenerbache profile page.

But as for your doubts as he is an africa nations player, I agree with.
