I was defending myself from being called a 'Kopite', simply because I pointed out that the Barcodes was a single club city, whereas the support in the city of Liverpool was split between two teams, and the total fanbase was larger than Newcastle. I thought you might have picked up on that...

It’s a tough one , but when you realise their closest rivalry is with Gateshead , and that they only boooo one player , Pickford , it becomes clearer . The only big club mentality they have is more Geordies follow @chicoazul on Twitter than Everton fans .
